1) B.A. [Labour Management]
  • Full time under graduate three year degree course.
  • Classes will be conducted from 10.00 am to 4.00 p.m.
  • Semester Pattern [ 2 semesters per academic year ]
  • Choice Based Credit System

ELIGIBILITY
  • Should have passed + 2 [HSC] Examination or an equivalent examination accepted by University of Madras with not less than 50% of marks.
  • For SC/ST candidates should have minimum pass in the Higher Secondary Examination.
  • For vocational stream with 50% marks obtained in HSC examination will be given admission, if sufficient candidates of general stream are not available.
Candidate appeared for the qualifying examination during March/April are also eligible to apply, provided they should submit the pass certificate and mark list in original, at the time of admission.

2) M.A. [Labour Management]
  • Full time post graduate two year degree course (10 + 2 + 3 pattern)
  • Classes will be conducted from 10.00 am to 4.00 p.m.
  • Semester Pattern [2 semesters per academic year]
  • Choice Based Credit System
  • The M.A. (Labour Management) is recognized by the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission as essential qualifications for appointment of 'Labour Officers' in the Labour Department of the Government of Tamilnadu. These qualifications are recognized as essential qualifications for appointment of Labour Welfare Officers in Factories in Tamilnadu.

ELIGIBILITY
  • Should have passed B.A. [Labour Management] or Any Bachelor degree or an equivalent examination accepted by University of Madras and any other recognized University.
  • Candidates from other Universities should also submit an eligibility certificate obtained from the University of Madras.
  • The candidates should enclose a copy of degree/provisional certificate from the concerned university.

Candidate appeared for the qualifying examination during March/April are also eligible to apply, provided they should submit the pass certificate and mark list in original, at the time of admission.

3) POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN LABOUR ADMINISTRATION
  • One year part time Post Graduate Diploma course .
  • Classes will be conducted from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm from Monday to Friday.
  • Semester Pattern [ 2 semesters ]
  • The P.G.D.L.A. is recognized by the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission as essential qualifications for appointment of Labour Officers' in the Labour Department of the Government of Tamilnadu. These qualifications are recognized as essential qualifications for appointment of Labour Welfare Officers in Factories in Tamilnadu.

4) DIPLOMA IN LABOUR LAWS WITH ADMINISTRATIVE LAW (PART TIME - WEEK END) COURSE.
  • One year part time (week end) Diploma course.
  • Classes will be conducted from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm on all Saturdays, and on Sunday from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm with an interval from 1.00pm to 2.00pm.
  • Semester Pattern [ 2 semesters ]

ELIGIBILITY
  • Should have passed B.A., [Labour Management] or Any Bachelor degree or an equivalent examination accepted by University of Madras and any other recognised University.
  • Candidates from other Universities should also submit an eligibility certificate obtained from the University of Madras.
  • The candidates should enclose a copy of degree/provisional certificate from the concerned university.

5. Ph.D. (Part time and Full time)
  • Eligibility (Genereal) The candidate should have obtained a Master's Degree in the relevant subject with not less than II Class or equivalent grade. In the case of examinations, where class of examinations or classification does not exist, a minimum of 50% marks is needed in the qualifying examination and
  • The eligibility criteria prescribed by the University of Madras.
