He is the Secretary of the STATE ADVISORY CONTRACT LABOUR BOARD under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970. He is also in-charge of Women's Cell recently created to look into the problems of women labour. He is also assisting the Joint Commissioner of Labour (Administration) in the enforcement of the Plantation Labour Act, 1951.
