This officer is to assist the Commissioner of Labour and the Joint Commissioner of Labour (Administration) in the matter relating to general administration and establishment. He is the appointing authority in respect of Office Assistants / Drivers in Head office and in the category of Junior Assistants/Typists/Steno-Typists throughout he State. In the discharge of administrative duties he is vested with certain financial powers and disciplinary powers.
